Chinese Massage

Chinese massage dates back over 4,000 years and is one of the therapies practiced in traditional Chinese medicine. Chinese massage is based on the concept of meridians and the flow of energy in the human body. It shares commonalities with both acupuncture and qigong (therapeutic exercise) and is a form of deep tissue therapy.
Thai Massage
Thai massage is relatively new to modern spas but it is an ancient form of massage thought to have been developed by Buddhist monks in Thailand 2,500 years ago. It uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension and to balance the body’s energy systems.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage involves the use of smooth, heated stones. The therapist places the hot stones on specific points on your body and may move the stones during treatment. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, allowing the therapist to apply deeper pressure without causing discomfort.
Foot Massage

Reflexology is based on the theory that the foot is like a map of the body and that manipulation of the foot can improve a person's health through their 'qi'. It is also used as a technique for de-stressing and relaxation.
Reflexology helps to create a healthy harmonious state within the body and triggers the body’s natural powers of self healing.

Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of treatment in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin to create suction. The treatment has many uses such as helping with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
Walking on Back

Ashiatsu (walking on back) massage is a centuries-old technique originally developed by monks which is now becoming popular in the West. The 'walking on back' technique allows a controlled deep tissue massage that has many benefits.
